An experienced professional in both law and accounting, Tom serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for Ellis Diversified, Inc. He has been associated with EDI since 1990 and Jim Ellis since 1981.
Tom is a certified public accountant (CPA) and an attorney with a background in domestic and international business and tax issues. He began his career with Touche Ross & Company as a tax consultant and served as Director of Tax Compliance for Southwestern Bell Corporation. He was also Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary for Catalina Lighting Inc., a Miami lighting products company; and Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of OriGene Technologies, Inc., a bio-medical research company based in Rockville, Maryland.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his Law Degree, JD and LLM from Washington University in St. Louis.
